Fresh from farm to cup
Carefully cultivated
Our matcha is grown on small, sustainable farms that follow traditional methods in Hangzhou, China – the birthplace of traditional Japanese matcha.
Harvested at peak freshness
We only harvest the youngest, most tender leaves during the first flush of the season. Hand-picked with care, these leaves offer a smooth taste and high nutritional value.
Expertly steamed and dried
After picking, the leaves are steamed to preserve their color and nutrients. They are then carefully dried to maintain their delicate texture and aroma.
Stone-ground to perfection
The dried leaves are slowly stone-ground using traditional granite mills. This method produces a fine, silky-smooth powder that enhances matcha’s natural sweetness.
Freshly sealed for purity
Once ground, the matcha is sealed immediately to protect its freshness and flavour. Every batch is kept airtight to ensure the best taste and highest quality when it reaches you.
